Unbelievable!!

In a move that truly leaves me speechless. Doug Hoffman's chances are looking quite rosy in the NY-23 race! Dede Scozzafava has now dropped out of this race leaving only the Conservative Party candidate and the Democrat opponent.

Bless me but this is fun!

Let the rally begin!

Israel & Romney

Quite a telling moment from Mitt.

Not even in the same room.

How I Wish It Were So

Conservatives Bark! GOP responds.

Yeah. Right!

It appears to me that these representatives are glassy-eyed and unresponsive as a group with a few, very few, stellar exceptions.

So much for dissent.

Dissent is apparently not allowed any longer. When President George W. Bush held the reins of leadership, dissent was a noble virtue. It was the pinnacle of americanism.

Now, the current president chillingly admonishes the Republican opposition to do what they are told. No opposition is tolerated. Lockstep acceptance is expected. It seems that today much is made of reaching across the aisle. In truth, our founders would, many of them, have found that rousingly hilarious. I would far more appreciate our representatives who would stay true to the principles that the people across the country have embraced.

The tea party "radicals", like those in 18th century Boston, continue to illustrate a rampant mistrust of government as the custodian of business, of health care or any enterprise that we do not wish to falter. The people of this nation get it.

If we want a bloated bureaucracy to emerge in medicare or in Detroit then by all means let the government have a turn at the tiller. If the people need to be taxed into a stupor, then let the government guide the ship of industry. If however, we want to see what capitalism can really do without the interference of the fools of state, then leave the sailing of dangerous waters to the seasoned captains.

Wet-behind-the-ears cabin boys be flogged.
