Remeber the Alamo?

This Texan remembers.

Yep. I am a sappy, sentimental Texan. An American. Unapologetic. I cry real tears for the men and women of valor who put their lives on the line every day. I had a real lump in my throat when the towers fell.

That ragtag group in the Alamo was hopelessly outnumbered. They fought on. Til death.

Is conservatism hopelessly outnumbered? Are we just a ragtag bunch? If we are, we will fight on to conserve liberty wherever it is threatened. We will not cut and run. Failure is not an option.

There is something about the underdog that we Americans find fascinating.

The Alamo.

300.

John Rambo.

The American Revolution.

Why do we find it so hard to keep our promises? I know. It is the voice of only a malcontent few that want to embrace defeat. Yet it is this voice that gains audience far to often. The voice of victory is too often suppressed.

Victory is not a dirty word.

Victory!
